Lady Margaret School is a Church of England school for girls aged 11-18 in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. There are currently just over 695 girls on roll. The school aims to provide its pupils with a sound education in accordance with Church of England principles. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers. However, it is an inclusive school and girls from other faiths or who have no religious beliefs at all are welcomed. The school seeks to offer a safe, caring and intellectually demanding environment to enable all the girls to benefit from a sound secondary education. The girls gain outstanding results at GCSE and A level and participate in a wide range of extra curricular activities and visits. The school is fortunate in having a very well qualified and dedicated team of staff. Lady Margaret School was re-designated as a Specialist School in Mathematics and Computing in 2007 and as a High Performing Specialist School achieved a second specialism in Music in 2008. The school benefits from an attractive site on Parson's Green with the main building comprising three impressive Georgian houses. In 2010 The Olivier Centre was opened. The new building was designed to provide facilities for Sixth Form teaching; Music and ICT and an auditorium for 180 pupils. Lady Margaret School welcomes new pupils to Years 7 and 12 every September. For more details on how to apply, please see the Admissions section.)
