Lady Margaret School
A Church of England School For Girls
Lady Margaret School is a Church of England academy for girls aged 11-18 in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
There are 756 pupils on roll, of which 186 are in the Sixth Form. Students at LMS have a very good record of securing offers from top universities. For the last two years, all our applicants to Oxford and Cambridge have been shortlisted for interview: this year 40% were subsequently made offers of places, and last year over 50% were.
Named after Lady Margaret Beaufort, the mother of Henry VII, the school has been offering an outstanding education to girls for over 95 years.
The school, rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in November 2011, teaches across 23 subject areas and offers a rich programme of extra-curriculum activities.
Ms Elisabeth Stevenson MA (Hons) is in her first year as Headteacher at Lady Margaret School and leads a teaching and support staff of 90.
